Earth
Hour 60 was celebrated in all Asia nations yesterday (31/3/2012) from 8 p.m.
until 9 p.m. (Malaysian Hour). This event is being celebrated once a year for
an hour. It is a way to cultivate awareness in all individuals about global
warming prevention. Earth Hour 60 was tremendously celebrated in famous spots
of Asia countries such as KLCC, Penang Bridge and New Delhi main road.
But the importance of this event is
not understood by most people. To present a clear picture of this: Electricity
was on in all the shops, Tesco and thousands of houses within the area of Taman
Desa and Old Klang Road, yesterday. It is very obvious that none of these
people do care about our environment, thus, they all neglected the Earth Hour
60 event. No one is personally ready to contribute at least an hour per year
for the good of our environment. If this behavior is going to persist, then
what would happen to the world in future? The
areas mentioned above represent many other locations throughout the world.
